Io mi inginocchiai e dissi:
"Santità, sono io!".
Gli altri lavoratori fecero largo per il passaggio del Papa; egli si chinò verso di me, mi pose la mano sulla spalla, avvicinò il suo volto al mio e chiese:
"Cosa c'è, figlio mio?".
