The Lord wants to give us everything for our happiness, but calls it a condition that we ask Him, and this can only happen through prayer. Moreover, the prayer (along with the Sacraments, Eucharist and sincere confession at least monthly) gives us the Holy Spirit, it leads us and makes us make the right choices. As I said, each of us was created by God for a purpose, a purpose and to understand that we must repent and pray a lot. The Lord is infinitely merciful and sooner or later respond, usually with the facts, the events that if we're careful and we are not superficial, we realize that this particular event, that particular thing was given to us by His own hands! To understand their vocation as well as daily prayer, is very useful to be followed by good Christian leadership. A priest who is a good spiritual director (who we recognize that), we may go much, as long as you obey. Few people know that they exist for all the opportunity to deepen their vocation (as long as they made with real research!) which may be a call to the priesthood or a double call. For example in Assisi or St. Mary of the Angels, brothers and sisters organized every year of interesting events on their own vocation, sull'affettività and others. They are truly exceptional.
